SMALL MEETING ROOM PHOTOS & DETAILS:

The small meeting room has a private entrance via stairway near the front door upon entering the building.  The room can be closed off from the large meeting room upstairs by french doors, and also has a private entrance to the upstairs patio.

 

LARGE MEETING ROOM PHOTOS & DETAILS:

The large meeting room contains a studio space in one half, and a full sized bar in the second half.  It has a private entrance via stairway, which can be accessed near the side entrance of Common Ground.  There are two single stall restrooms and plenty of options for arranging the large meeting room.  Guests are welcome to arrange the room as desired, so long as it is clean and orderly before leaving.

 

GROUP DESCRIPTIONS:

COMMUNITY EVENT– This can be classified as any group or organization utilizing the space for community building or recreation, and where NO money is changing hands.

FOR PROFIT GROUP/BUSINESS EVENT– This is classified as any group meeting or event hosted for the benefit of their business or their for-profit entity, AND/OR money is changing hands between host and attendees for the event.

SPECIAL EVENT– This can be classified as any private party such as a birthday, wedding reception, OR any event over 2 hours.

EXISTING COLLABORATOR– These are hosts that have an existing collaboration for co-hosted events with Common Ground

*All events are welcome to carry in food & drink purchased from cafe on main level, or arrange catering with advanced notice (PLEASE NO OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINK ALLOWED)

 

EVENT ROOM DESCRIPTIONS

SMALL MEETING ROOM: The small meeting room is a private meeting room in the upper level of Common Ground.  It is accessible by private staircase, and includes 3 couches, a table and chairs, and access to the upstairs patio.

LARGE EVENT ROOM: The large event room is a private meeting and event space in the upper level of Common Ground.  It is accessible by private staircase, and includes a variety of tables and chairs that can be set up however you choose. There is a private bar (only staffed when arranged beforehand), 2 single stall restrooms, a studio space with wood floors and ample sunlight.

ACCESSIBLE MEETING SPACE: Because the event rooms in the upper level of Common Ground are only accessible by stairs (for now!) please let us know if you would like to reserve meeting space in the main level dining room, and we can plan this accordingly.

 

PRICING SCHEDULE:

 

~MONDAY- THURSDAY~

(UP TO 2 HOURS)

 

SMALL MEETING ROOM

(max of 2 hours at this pay scale)

 

1) Not for Profit/Community Group:

FREE with $30/hr minimum in cafe sales (for the group)

OR

$20/hr with no restaurant purchase

 

2) For Profit Groups/Businesses:

$20/hr Event Room Rental

(food & drink additional charge- please no outside food & beverage allowed)

 

*SMALL MEETING ROOM CAN COMFORTABLY FIT ABOUT 10-15 PEOPLE

 

LARGE MEETING ROOM

(max of 2 hours at this pay scale)

 

1) Not for Profit/Community Group:

FREE with $90/hr in cafe sales OR $45/hr with no restaurant purchases

*Max of 2 hours for this pay scale

 

2) For Profit Group/Business:

$65/hr Event Room Rental for up to 10 people

(food & drink additional charge- No outside food & beverage allowed)

+$5 for each additional person over 10 people

 

~FRIDAY- SUNDAY~

(UP TO 2 HOURS)

 

SMALL MEETING ROOM

(max of 2 hours at this pay scale)

1) Not for Profit/Community Group:

FREE with $60/hr in cafe sales for the group OR $30/hr with no restaurant purchase

 

2) For Profit Groups/Businesses:

$30/hr Event Room Rental for up to 10 people

(food & drink additional charge- No outside food & beverage allowed)

 

*SMALL MEETING ROOM CAN COMFORTABLY FIT ABOUT 10-15 PEOPLE

 

LARGE MEETING ROOM

(max of 2 hours at this pay scale)

1) Not for Profit/Community Group:

FREE with $90/hr in restaurant sales OR $45/hr with no restaurant purchase

 

2) For Profit Groups/Businesses:

$75/hr Event Room Rental

(food & drink additional charge- No outside food & beverage allowed)

~SPECIAL EVENTS PRICING~

(this includes private parties such as birthdays, wedding receptions, and any event over 2 hours)

MONDAY-THURSDAY: $150 for 2.5 hours (2 hours for the event and an additional 30 min for set up and clean up)

FRIDAY-SUNDAY: $200 for 2.5 hours (2 hours for the event and an additional 30 min for set up and clean up)

 

FOR ALL SPECIAL EVENTS:

-Food is an additional charge from restaurant, arranged beforehand OR carry up food purchased from restaurant on main level

-NO Outside food/drink allowed, except Birthday Cake/Dessert

-Bring your own decorations (you must clean up within your allotted time)

-Themed parties and decorations can be provided for additional charge & advanced notice (tea party, yoga party, guided art event, dance party, super hero party, etc)

-Children’s parties will include use of child sized tables and chair set up plus adult tables and chairs

-Guests using the upstairs meeting space for special events are welcome to arrange the furniture (tables, chairs, couches) to suit their needs
